Sponsorship Program

Thanks to generous partnership with Long & McQuade, It is possible to join MNHB for a period of one (1) year for a fee of $50.

Terms and conditions of the program:

You can rent an instrument from our partner Long & McQuade for a period of ? months, free of charge;
Afterwards, 70% of the rental payments you make will be deducted from the purchase price of your instrument;
A one-year commitment is required, as well as regular participation in rehearsals;
No previous musical experience is required.

Please submit your application by email to info@nhmontreal.com providing the following information:

• Name;

• Email address;

• Phone number;

• In your own words, tell us what interests you and motivates you to join our group;

• To the extent you feel comfortable, please describe your financial needs;

• Please list the three instruments you would prefer to play in our band (options include: flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, trumpet, trombone, French horn, or percussion).

The board of directors of the Montreal New Horizons Band will review your application and let you know if you are eligible for this opportunity.

Families

Minors (ages 10 and up) accompanied by an adult (parent or guardian) will receive a 50% discount on registration fee.

Terms & Conditions

Payment options & Reimbursement policies

Registrations fees are payable by the first rehearsal of each semester. If a musician joins the band later in the term, the registration fees must still be paid in full. No exceptions will be allowed.

Payment methods:

Registration fees are ONLY payable via the Zeffy webform. NO exceptions will be allowed. For technical help, call (450) 672-7897.

Late payments:

An additional $10 fee may be applied for registration payments received after the registration deadline.

Refund Policy:

A refund in proportion to the amount paid (0.625) is possible if you abandon the activity within the first 3 weeks of teaching. After 3 weeks, no refund possible. The refund will be made using the payment method chosen at the time of registration.

Code of Ethics:

By becoming a member of the Montreal New Horizons Band, each musician agrees to follow its Code of Ethics and to participate in one of the organizations operational committees, according to their preference.

Discharge of responsibility:

The Montreal New Horizons Band is not responsible for any loss, theft or any other damage to the property of members.

It is essential that you familiarize yourself with our code of ethics, which contains much useful information in addition to our policies, before the first rehearsal.
