Committees are a way for members and board volunteers to work together, strengthen our community, and contribute to the life of MNHB beyond rehearsals. By joining a committee, you can share your skills, ideas, and enthusiasm while helping to support the life and reach of our community. Each committee focuses on a specific area — from organizing events to supporting ensembles, managing publicity, and more — and relies on the collaboration of both board and band members along with the teaching team and directors. Whether you have a little time to give or want to be more deeply involved, your contribution makes a difference.

Bands Committee
Bands Committee
Responsible for maintaining open and constructive communication and cooperation between members, as well as ongoing support for the teaching team before, during and after rehearsals.
Concert Committee

Responsible for the organization of all aspects of performance activities.
Advertising Committee
Advertising Committee
Responsible for arranging publicity for recruitment activities, concerts, and events.
Events Committee

Responsible for the organization of social activities, outings, exchanges and festivals.
Finance Committee

Responsible for the general and specific fundraising activities, as well as auditing the financial activities of the organization.
Repertoire Committee
Repertoire Committee
Responsible for providing a forum where band members can make music suggestions to the teaching team and learn more about repertoire choices.
